Meet the team...
Nick Otley
Before becoming company director, Nick tried his hand at a number of other professions,
most notably as a Fortune Cookie writer. Nick excelled in this post but after many years
service to this profession he had to relinquish his post as top dog after reaching his peak
when he wrote: “Go to bed with an itchy bum, wake up with a stinky pinky.”
Charlie Otley
Charlie has also had a weird occupational journey. His childhood ambition was to play in
the NBA, but this was soon shattered when he reached puberty and stopped growing.
After a brief spell of acting where he auditioned for a part in Lord of the “Things”,
Charlie is now our Head Brewer.
Matthew Otley
Brought up in and around pubs, there was only really one job Matthew would be doing in
later life and that’s Pet Food Tasting. He has now come to his senses and is brewing for us,
but old habits die hard. On many Monday mornings he is asked why he hasn’t shaved,
to which he replies “I love Whiska’s”.
Nathan Ellis
Nathan joined us in late 2008, after a stint of putting the holes in Polo’s. He mentioned that
although that job was very fulfilling, it lacked something in the middle. He is now working in
the office, but is occasionally let off the leash to dabble in the brewing process... of Tea that is.
Wade Walters
After being knocked out by Roy Walker on the 12th green in the 2009 PRO/AM, Wade joined
the OBC just in time for the Christmas rush. Pro golfer turned sales rep... Another step closer
to that elusive Green Jacket.
Rachelle Richards
Rachelle heads up our marketing and sales, and since joining us prior to Christmas 2009,
has helped to create a relaxed atmosphere in the brewery. The greatest example of this can
be seen in the newly created office which has now been turned into a sauna.
Mike Davis
The newest member of the team, and probably the most recognisable; but only if you found him.
He was the star of many children’s books titled “Where’s Wally?” a question still asked by us
when he is out in the delivery van.
